Good quality!

This is a solid case. Very, very easy to build and super sturdy, with plenty of space for most reasonably-sized wargames (no issue storing 2k+ of admech or 3k+ of Sylvaneth). Looks spotless. The terrain is also pretty solid and easy to construct, though there are lots of spindly and breakable bits along some of the windows.

Still, there are a few downsides. I do not understand why the hinges are placed on the bottom, making the acrylic panel swing out and cover a ton of unneeded space while open. It should be on the side. The case is also a bit heavier than some others I've used, and being a big wooden box, a bit less convenient than more backpack-styled transport cases. It may necessitate an additional bag depending on your needs, and it isn't holding any books or other materials.

Still--good for the price. The supplied magnets are also quite strong, just make sure you DON'T glue them flush to the underside of a typical GW base. As the guide says, use a bit of extra glue so the magnet is flush with the metal tray.

Something about the smell of laser cut wood makes you feel like your mediocre painted army is best in class. That kind of boost to your self esteem is well worth the price. The fact that it’s also a convenient carry case is a bonus.

Fantastic Design

The designs for both the Mag case and the Terrain set are superb. I've played with many mdf sets, and they all alive the same flaw: they look bland.

This set solves this problem. It's the only set I know of with Buttresses, columns, and archways. Even unpainted, this set is visually superior to most others.

And they didn't make the mistake of permanently attaching the buildings to the bases; how many times have you needed to place and objective mat halfway thru a wall? Or to remove a building for accurate measurement. This set allows for all of that.

Considering grabbing another set for tournament play.
